Childhood Recovered

As a child in Baltimore, we had to pass a Goetze's Caramel Cream factory, which I was sure would gladly offer a large bag of free candy to a child. Unfortunately, it was always on Sunday and they were closed. I was restricted to buying individual creams whenever possible. As an aging Southerner, Caramel Creams are not readily available in the Blue Ridge area. A friend asked if I had thought of searching the internet, fool that I was, no I hadn't. Now I sit staring at 5 pounds of soft, fresh caramels. A 70 year old dream come true.
