Just rediscovered corn nuts! From various producers! I've now tried three different kinds: These from NUTS U.S., another from Hamtpon Popcorn & Candy Company, and the latest and greatest from the O.G. CORN NUTSÂ brand.OG CORN NUTSÂ are reliably great tasting with good large kernels, but do seem to leave a considerable 'corn-nut-breath' taste in the mouth. Corn Nut Breath (CNB) potency 96%.Corn nuts from the Hamtpon Popcorn & Candy Company were smaller, satisfyingly crunch, but the oil flavor did not taste good to me. CNB potency 55%.And these from NUTS U.S. strike a great balance of kernel size, crunchiness/texture, and good flavor, without an overwhelming aftertaste CNB potency 67%.Hoping to try some obscure regional varieties in the next few months.
